  • Brex charges foreign transaction fees for all international purchases, and Expensify does not.

  • Brex is a card-first solution, while Expensify integrates with all major company card providers and also offers an Expensify credit card.

  • Expensify supports multi-currency and international card transactions, making it suitable for businesses with global operations. Brex is primarily focused on US-based businesses.

  • Expensify integrates with a wide variety of travel apps, including Uber, unlike Brex.

  • Expensify's Concierge can automatically submit reports, detect duplicates, and ensure the accuracy of expenses, unlike Brex.

  • Brex lacks certain services provided by Expensify, such as an audit trail, custom export options, and automatic mileage tracking.

  • Brex doesn’t offer a free reimbursement program. Instead, they use Brex cash, which tacks on additional fees. But with the Expensify Card, you can get up to 2% cashback.
